Already grossing over $342 Million worldwide in just a few days despite a $90 Million budget, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a box office hit that continues to have raving reviews.
The movie is a family movie and pot pouri of action, adventure and comedy starring Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Bobby Cannavale.
Interestingly, it is set over twenty years after the original Jumanji with Robin Williams in 1995. However, unlike the first movie that had a board game, in this version the board game changes into a video game and that is where the real action begins.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle is about four teenagers in detention who get sucked into the world of the Jumanji game and literally become the bodies of the characters they chose to play the game. However, what they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji but rather, Jumanji plays you!
They go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives with the risk of being stuck in the game forever as they try to overcome the game's magical power in order to win and return home.
