Family Friendly Film, The Emoji Movie Now Showing In Cinemas In Nigeria

Summertime just got more interesting for the whole family as Silverbird Film Distribution West Africa brings us the latest animated comedy, The Emoji Movie.

The Emoji Movie explores the world that we are in now where the Smart Phone is taking prime place and smileys or emoji which are small images are being used to express or buttress emotions in text messages or posts on social media.

This animated film is a very colorful and kid-friendly adventure that imagines a world called Textopolis inside our smartphones in which each emoji is supposed to have a single expression. However, an emoji named Gene is ashamed that he has multiple facial expressions, and he embarks on a quest to be like everyone else.

Many real-life apps are featured prominently, including Dropbox, YouTube, and Just Dance. The Emoji Movie passes across the message of embracing your uniqueness rather than wanting to be like everyone else. There is also emphasis on the importance of being true to yourself, as well as the value of honesty, friendship and teamwork.

Directed by Tony Leondis, this Sony Pictures Animation movie uses the voices of Hollywood heavyweights like Patrick Stewart, James Corden, Anna Faris, Jennifer Coolidge and Maya Rudolph.

So far, The Emoji Movie has already grossed over $76 Million worldwide and continues to be on the Top 10 Box Office List therefore making it a 'MUST WATCH' and on a plus side, kids will definitely enjoy the colorful characters and easy-to-follow story line.

Why not give the whole family a treat and check out The Emoji Movie which is already showing in ALL cinemas nationwide?
